Collapsed Lung
The band that brought you the hits EAT MY GOAL (1996) and... EAT MY GOAL (1998) are back! Collapsed Lung, brit-hop iconoclasts and pranksters (established 1992) return to Sheffield with their freewheeling, genre-hopping, social-commenting, huge beat-having hip hop fusion.
Since re-activating in 2015 they've released two DIY masterpieces - 2019's ZERO HOURS BAND, and 2023's COLLAPSED LUNG WEEKEND TELEVISION. Have they grown up? Not necessarily. But the beats and lyrics are definitely harder and angrier respectively.
Special guests are Barnsley broken big beat duo MIILLION and electro folk locals Brötchen.
S&M Lates: Ila Brugal + Guests

Joining her are stalwarts of the Sheffield scene Groundwork, Thirdspace resident & partystarter Omari and Bristol based SOMNAMBULA co-founder, YouYou.
All welcome, always.

Jarred Up Presents: Silverbacks
Jarred Up Presents: Silverbacks
Band from Ireland. Archive Material, our new album, is out now.
After all the years building up to it, Silverbacks are kicking down the door with a debut full of direct, immediate songs that refuse to be forgotten. And from there, from all those tightly arranged songs, you can already hear how much room they have to spread out — from old sounds, from Dublin and genre signifiers, just unspooling out into a strain of art-punk-glam-slacker-pop that only belongs to Silverbacks. - Stereogum ‘Fad’ is an excellent example of how a debut should be done. - DIY Magazine 'Try to follow the thread of those guitars. It’s impossible. Twisting, turning and transforming like Optimus Prime in a sticky-floored club.' - NME

Earwig Presents: Menstrual Cramps
Formed in a broken bedroom in Bristol, on the verge of homelessness, and rife with anger, The Menstrual Cramps were born. Politics on the brain and injustices surrounding them, they jumped ship to a dive in London and recorded their debut album ‘We’re Not Ovaryacting’ on distorted acoustic guitars, calling on the world to ‘Save the Badgers’, and ‘Cull the Tories’. Their debut music video for ‘My Bush Ain’t Ur Business’ was removed from YouTube after some trolls reared their ugly heads and didn’t want people to reclaim their own breasts or bodies.
The Menstrual Cramps are now taking 2024 by storm, having signed with Alcopop! Records, and releasing their first single in five years, ‘Body Politics’, shouting about the need for true gender liberation in society, ‘Abortion’, demanding the right to safe abortions for all, and their latest hit single 'Class War', encouraging everyone to join a union and hold their workplace accountable. As always, The Menstrual Cramps still aren’t here to take your sh*t!
David Grubb- Circadia
Information from the organisers
Step into the sonic world of Circadia, a dream fuelled journey through the human subconscious charting a typical sleep cycle. Moving through the sleep phases, we encounter strange phenomena such as exploding head syndrome, somnambulism, and lucid dreaming, all via a genre-hopping six piece of violin, clarinet, keys, guitar, bass and drums.
Andrew Cassara (CAN) + Lucy Dreams (AT)
ANDREW CASSARA
Channeling the glitz of 70s pop and disco with a contemporary twist, Andrew Cassara’s live show is an electric celebration of sound and energy. His magnetic stage presence and feel-good tunes pull the audience into a sonic journey where every beat is an invitation to dance. Whether headlining or sharing the stage with international icons, Andrew’s performances are packed with vibrant passion and positivity.
LUCY DREAMS
Imagine the virtual fusion of Tame Impala, David Bowie, and Daft Punk materializing into a full-blown rock spectacle. As the band, accompanied by their artificial counterpart, takes the stage, an extravagant true-blue presence delivers their songs with emphatic passion. Lucy Dreams doesn't just perform; they craft an experience for the senses, captivating ears, enchanting eyes, and stirring hearts in unison."

Futuresound Presents: Youth Sector
Hailing from Brighton Youth Sector’s music is a coiled spring of urgency and unpredictable energy; while lyrically offering a sense of catharsis for the confusion of modern adult life. Taking influence from art school greats DEVO and Talking Heads, the Brighton 5 piece never revel in bleakness, managing to twist everyday narratives into music that is quite the opposite being upbeat, full of energy and with irresistible choruses you can’t help but sing along with. Championed by the likes of Clash, DIY, Dork, Line Of Best Fit with multiple BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music plays, the band have toured and played shows alongside Kaiser Chiefs, Darwin Deez, Goat Girl and Courting as well as picking up a bunch of UK and EU festivals and playing SXSW in 2023.

Sidney&Matilda Presents: Snazzback
Snazzback’s electrifying chemistry has wowed audiences at Ronnie Scott’s, festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown & Shambala and gained support from BBC Radio heavyweights including Gilles Peterson, Jamz Supernova and Jamie Cullum. Snazzback's music is a collage, collectively constructed, torn up and glued back together in unexpected ways, bringing a renewed, daring energy to UK dance music. The 7-piece embrace their experimental beginnings to create a sound fusing abstract beats with spiralling improvisation. Their music is soaked in influences including interlocking West African rhythms, rootsy Brazilian flavours, sprawling soundscapes, deep dubstep basslines and flickering arpeggiators. A collaborative instinct runs through the group, and an eclectic choice of vocalists keeps their compositions shimmering with new possibilities."

KING EFFERS (SHEFFIELD PUNKY REGGAE) - HEADLINERS
https://www.facebook.com/p/King-Effers-100063586809921/
In 2019, having got fed up with censorship and silly social media algorithms, Sheffield’s long standing politico-punks The F*kwits changed their name to King Effers, perhaps a little easier on the tongue.
Mr Keef and Chris (The F*kwits) were joined by Tank (Freekspert) on drums, and Muzz (Artery/Faerground Accidents) on bass. With a love of all things punk, reggae and rocksteady it was only a matter of time before the sound turned into a highly-charged punky reggae party.
Having toured the UK and Germany and negotiated the perils and pitfalls of the covid lockdowns, the band finally managed to procure enough studio time and complete the recordings of what would become the first King Effers album entitled ‘Soap Box’, to be released on Holy Dotage Records on Dec 1st 2023
Line up:
Mr Keef – Vocals & Guitar
Guitar Chris – Guitar & B-Vocals
Muzz – Bass & B-Vocals
Tank – Drums & Percussion.

“Soft Launch are the band you should be very excited about”- Dork Mag. Forming together after years of different individual projects, the Irish quintet quickly became a natural force, packing out their live shows without any publicly released music, including selling out London’s The Grace within an hour. Key publications such as Dork and DIY Mag have coined them as one of the most exciting bands on the scene right now; and these aren’t the only people shouting about Soft Launch. Pop icons CMAT and Declan McKenna have urged people to go and listen to the fivesome with Declan McKenna later bringing the group on tour with him in early 2024. There is an undeniable buzz about
