Thu, 26 Oct 2023, 7:30pm • Sidney & Matilda, Sheffield
Special guests: Video Kids, Debris Discs, Future Perfect
The dates include the band’s first ever visits to Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds!
LUCY DREAMS
This is something to experience. What sounds like the virtual brainchild of Tame Impala, David Bowie and Daft Punk hits the stage as a full-blown rock show. The band flirts live with the Alter ego from digital spheres, has inspiring messages for the audience and send their catchy songs, including the internationally praised "Know My Number", emphatically towards the audience. In an extravagant golden suit and mask, signals and signs are being sent out kaleidoscopically on all frequencies and in all directions. Lucy Dreams on stage is an experience for ears, eyes and hearts.
VIDEO KIDS
Video Kids deliver a fresh yet authentically '80s-inspired collection of Synthpop hits. The duo have opened for Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp on his 'Back to the '80s' UK tour, and are planning to follow up with new music sometime before 2050.
DEBRIS DISCS
Nestled up in the hills of the High Peak in Derbyshire, Debris Discs contrasts rural, understated songwriting with an arsenal of dusty synths, drum machines, effects pedals and a trusty old telecaster. Expect cinematic dreampop epics tempered with a homespun sensibility.
FUTURE PERFECT
The North Wales Futurepop act will be playing their dark edged dance tunes for your pleasure.
