Lazy Thinking Live: An Inspiring and Intimate Evening of Literature and Music
Here it is. The opener. The big one. The who-know’s-what-the-hell-is-going-on-but-it-damn-looks-like-a-lot-of-fun, first-ever, all singing, all dancing Library of Lazy Thinking Live Show.
To mark this special occasion, it is an absolute honour and pleasure to bring you readings from the wonderful and inspiring humans that go by the names of David Keenan, Helen Mort, and Lias Saoudi, not to mention live music from the always excellent Andrew DR Abbott and the ever-eccentric Loic J Tuckey.
Plus, as well as live performances, casual chat, and potentially enforced fun, there’ll be a pop-up bookshop from Novel’s rather wonderful Kate and Joe. It means you can drink booze AND buy books, all while Lias Saoudi looks at you suspiciously from across the room.
I mean, it’s the stuff dreams are made of, right?
It’s all going down (in two parts and an old-school intermission) at Sidney & Matilda’s in Sheffield on Thursday 20th March, from 7pm until late. You should probably come—it’ll be good.
Tickets are limited and it’s first come first served.
