Over his 40 years in music he has DJed, played in bands, promoted, pushed, written and supported music from Latin, Jazz, soul and so much more. From leading the charge with Leeds' first Jazz dance and Salsa nights to long running nights with the Dig Family and the more recent Soul Rebels which provided a launch pad for the likes of Nubiyan Twist, TC and the Groove Family, K.O.G and so many more! Lubi has played with too many to mention but here's a few, Seu Jorge, Eddie Palmieri, and Azymuth.
Chris Welch, Sounds Like Thisser gaffer and Phonetics resident, Welchie can't decide which genre of leftfield dance music he likes best so just plays all of them. He has played far and wide from Lisbon to Leeds, Melnourne to Manchester (but mainly Sheffield), Soundwave to We Out Here. His long running radio show has featured everyone from Omar to K.O.G and his recently launched indpendent label boasts Aziza & Finguz amongst others!
