What a way to start our first quarterly gig night in Sheffield! Hosted at Sidney & Matilda in the Factory Room, Repeater #01 features an exciting mix of psych-rock, grunge and dark post-punk.

To put it Simply, Sewage Farm are ace! With a lineup featuring Sam Forrest (Nine Black Alps) on guitar and vocals, Danny Trew Barton (White Firs) on bass, and the rhythmic precision of Danny Hirst on drums, Sewage Farm stand as a testament to musical finesse. Think of the raw guitar-powered scuzz of Dinosaur Jr, the high-impact drumming of Led Zeppelin, and the distorted bass of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club — Then you're getting close.
An absurd symphony of the strange and the abstract: Sheffield's Electric Tape Recorder recant nightmarish tales in equal measures of beauty and brutality. Bitter-sweet melodies and hypnotic beats underline the band's psych-rock sound. With their new EP, Strange Holiday, fresh off the press in October 2023, ETR are triumphantly returning from an unplanned pause in the wilderness.
The Super Stereos see Dave Elektrik discarding the sticks in favour of four strings. Zip Spooner programming, sparsely playing guitar and vocalising the manic scribblings of another mind. These two long time collaborators are at it again with this new music taking an unusual slower, darker pace.
